In both my writing and my work in ceramics, I layer colors and my plots wit a palpable sense of texture and depth. "The Change," my first novel, won the Conference Choice Award at the 2017 San Diego State Writers' Conference. The book, which was agented faced the blistering realities of the publishing world and has yet to be printed.
