Michael T WalshMichael Walsh, a native of Baltimore, Maryland, is a historian who specializes in both twentieth-century U.S. history as well as local history. Michael majored in history and received his undergraduate degree from Loyola University, Maryland. He obtaned a master's degree in historical studies at University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) and subsequently earned his PhD at UMBC in public policy with a concentration in policy history. Michael currently teaches U.S. history as an adjunct professor at the Community College of Baltimore County and is also a grants and contracts manager at UMBC. Michael currently resides with his wife Jennifer, daughter Elizabeth and pet Australian Shepherd Mugsy in the Parkville community in Baltimore County.
