Michael SubialkaMichael Subialka is Assistant Professor of Comparative Literature and Italian at the University of California, Davis. He taught previously at St. Hugh's College, University of Oxford, where he was the Powys Roberts Research Fellow in European Literatre, and at Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey. A scholar of European modernism working at the intersection of literature and philosophy, he has also translated work by Italian authors including Luigi Pirandello, Benedetto Croce, and Bertrando Spaventa.
