Matt BarlowMatt Barlow is a Research Associate at the Interdisciplinary Global Development Centre and a PhD candidate in Politics at the University of York. His research is mainly situated in the discipline of Political Economy of Development, and more explicity he focuses on the legitimisation of tax regimes in emergency and crisis situations in Latin America, and state-society relations during these periods. Outside of crisis financing, Matt also explores regionalism through questions of political economy. Here, his interests focus on both the Latin American and sub-Saharan African regions.
