James GormlyBorn in Riverside, California, James L. Gormly received a B.A. from the University of Arizona and his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut. He is now professor of history and chair of the history department at Washington and Jefferson Colege. He has written THE COLLAPSE OF THE GRAND ALLIANCE (1970) and FROM POTSDAM TO THE COLD WAR (1979).
