J. H. StapeJ. H. Stape is Senior Research Fellow at St Mary's University, Twickenham, London. He has taught at universities in Canada, France and Asia. The author of The Several Lives of Joseph Conrad (2007) and the editor of The Cambridge Companion to Joseph Cnrad (1996), he has edited several of Conrad's texts for the Cambridge Edition of the Works of Joseph Conrad series and is co-editor of Conrad's Collected Letters (volumes seven and nine).
