Craig HemmensCraig Hemmens is Chair and Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice & Criminology at Washington State University. He holds a J.D. from North Carolina Central University School of Law and a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State Univesity. He previously served as Department Head and Professor in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Missouri State University, and as Chair of the Department of Criminal Justice, Director of the Paralegal Studies Program, and Director of the Honors College at Boise State University. Professor Hemmens has published twenty books and more than two hundred articles and other writings on a variety of criminal justice-related topics and Bruce Springsteen. His primary research interests are criminal law and procedure and corrections.
