Brough Girling

Brough Girling is a well-known author of children’s books – Jets, Jokebooks and fiction for older readers – all humourous stuff. He was the first head of the Children’s Book Foundation [now Young Book Trust]; editor of Young Telegraph and still heds up Readathon which raises enormous sums of money for children’s charities during National Book Week.
