Arya UthamanDr. Arya Uthaman is currently working as a research scholar in the School of Civil Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology, China. She completed her PhD in Engineering Mechanics at the same institute in 2021.

Her areas of expertise are in polmer science and engineering, fiber reinforced polymer composites, polymer nanocomposites, durability of polymers and composites in harsh environments, and degradation studies of polymer composites, and nanocomposites. She has published several research articles and book chapters and has also co-edited one book on advanced functional porous materials {Springer]. She completed her M.Tech in Polymer Science and Technology from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India in 2016 and received her Doctoral Fellowship from the Chinese Government under the Chinese Scholarship Council.
